Poll Manager Component

Beyond other components, Elxis CMS is brought to you with the "Poll Component". You can find it all ready installed, together with other components in the Elxis Administrator's control panel (components - install/uninstall - installed components).
Through Poll Manager you are able to configure polls & surveys and start showing them in the frontent of your site. Poll Manager can be found by following the route Components/ Poll Manager (pic 1). In the Poll Manager area you can find all the polls listed with their title. Clicking on any title, lets you edit the «Details» of the specific poll.
If you want to create a brand new poll, click on the «New» button on the upper right corner of the current page. Bellow you can find a help description of all the settings (pic 2).
Title: The title and besides that - the question of your poll/survey.
SEO title: A seo title for the poll page. Don’t forget to validate the seo title!
Published: Yes or No, if you want the poll published right after you «Save» your work. If not, the poll will be saved but unpublished.
Locked: Yes or No, if you want the poll locked and not accepting any other votes.
Access: (Public Frontend, Registered, Author, Administrator exc.) Assign the access level for the poll. Who can see it published and who cannot. By default this is set to «Public Frontend».
Lag: Time mediation before a user can vote again for the same poll. Note: The time is set in 86400 seconds. (86400 seconds = 24 hours).
Language: For what language, will this poll be available.
Options 01, 02, 03… 012: Here you can import the available answers to the poll’s question. You can insert up to 12 different choices.
Show on menu items: On what menu items do you want the poll to show up.
Press the «Save» button on the upper right corner and you are ready with the new poll. If you selected «Published: Yes», your poll is already showing. Else, you must take care publishing it.
