In order for reservations to be approved for a hotel you can force customers to pre-pay via one of the supported payment gateways the whole or a part of the reservation amount as a guarantee for a reservation. The payment amount can be an absolute value or a percentage of the total reservation cost. To enable payments for a hotel just set the surety fee to a value greater than zero (0).
Payment modules
IOS Reservations supports a variety of payment methods and gateways. The system is modular and you can any time create/install more payment modules if you wish to use a new payment gateway. To assign a payment module to a hotel or edit an existing one just click on the module's icon. A pop-up window will appear with the module's parameters. To remove a payment gateway from a hotel just click the remove link.
PayPal parameters
The payment modules parameters vary depending on the payment gateway. As an example we show you here the parameters for the PayPal payment gateway. PayPal requires to provide your paypal business e-mail and you can also set if you wish to use the test server (not real transactions) or the live server (real transactions).
