IOS Reservations is an Elxis CMS component. This means that IOS Reservations can not exist without Elxis CMS. Elxis is the ideal platform for IOS Reservations because of its features. Elxis is provided for free and you can download and install it via a web interface. After installing Elxis CMS login to the administration console. From this area we can install IOS Reservations and any other extension built for Elxis.

IOS Reservations package
The package you get from Is Open Source after purchasing IOS Reservations is a zip package containing the IOS Reservations component and a number of modules and bots. Each one of these are ready to be installed Elxis extensions in a zipped form. The main application is the component. You can easily distinguish it from the other zips as its name starts from com_.... (com means component, mod means module, and bot means bot). Unzip locally IOS Reservations package. After unzip you will see a number of other zip packages. These are the extensions that we will install in Elxis.
Install the component (required)
Go to Elxis administration -> Installers -> Components
On the Package File area click browse, select the com_reservations_3.x_rxxx.zip file.
Click Upload File and Install.
The component has been installed.
Install the modules (optional)
Go to Elxis administration -> Installers -> Modules
On the Package File area click browse, select the mod_name_here.zip file.
Click Upload File and Install.
The module has been installed.
Install the bots (optional)
Go to Elxis administration -> Installers -> Bots
On the Package File area click browse, select the bot_name_here.zip file.
Click Upload File and Install.
The bot has been installed.
Install a language package
Just upload the language files inside folder:
administrator/components/com_reservations/language/
