Overview and availability

Bellow the hotel description area you can display any elxis module by setting it to be displayed in modules position reshotel. Read more about internal IOS Reservations modules.

Pick dates

Select the check-in and check-out dates of your stay. This selection will be saved and stay active during your whole visit to the site so you won't have to select it again and again. It changes only by selecting other dates.

Available rooms

In the hotel page you can see the available hotel rooms for the time period between your desired check-in and check-out dates. If you have n't picked up check-in and check-out dates you will see a message to do so. You can also click on the Show all rooms link to see all hotel rooms regardless their availability status. If you click on the Availability calendar link you will see the Availability Calendar of that room. To book a room just select quantity and click on the Reserve button. Notice that you can book more than one room type at once.

Add-on services

If the hotel has assigned to it add-on services then a list of them will be displayed bellow the hotel Facilities. The guest will be able to pick one or more of the additional services that the hotel offers in the reservation page.

Gallery

IOS Reservations generates an image gallery for the hotel. If you click the Gallery tab you will see a gallery for the hotel with pictures the hotel's owner has uploaded and a second gallery with pictures of the area in which the hotel is located to. If you have enabled Flickr the location's uploaded pictures will be enriched with those from Flickr. IOS Reservations uses cached XML files in order not to query continuously Flickr for pictures. The full sized picture is being displayed in a Lightbox window after clicking on a thumbnail.

Contact hotel

If you click on the Contact tab you will find detailed contact information for the hotel. Some of the informational fields (e-mail address and telephone) can be hidden if you have set so in IOS Reservations general configuration. Visitors are also able to contact the hotel manager using the built-in contact form to arrange their stay at the hotel or ask for further details regarding the hotel facilities and prices before they book a room.

Hotel comments

You can set registered users, or hotel guests (people that have stayed in the hotel) to post comments or you can disable commentary for a hotel. The Comments tab will show you the current comments posted for a hotel. If you are allowed to post a comment you will also see the comments form else you will see an non-authorized message. Hotel owner and site's super administrators can also see un-published comments and either publish or delete them. As you see for the screen shot, users can not only comment the hotel but rate it. They can rate the hotel Staff, Services, Clean, Comfort and Value for money from 1 to 5 and they can also post Positive and Negative comments. A summary of the whole users comments is being displayed in the top of this tab. The hotel's total rate is a decimal number for 0.0 to 10.0. You can also select to display guest reviews by Tripadvisor.com web site. Tripadvisor reviews can co-exist with internal commentary or you can display only tripadvisor reviews.
