The XML export feature allows you to export your products in XML format in order to use these XML files to feed price comparison web sites such as skroutz.gr and e-prices.gr. This way you can have your products displayed in many sites!
You can set which product informational fields to be exported, the exported XML file name and the products language in case you have them entered in more than one languages. You can also limit the exported products to specific categories. This feature may be useful if you need to export too many products and the export fails. In this case you can break the whole export procedure to more than one by splitting the products into different XML files based on their categories. To do so just write the categories IDs you wish to export as a comma separated list in the Product categories field. If you leave this empty, all the products will be exported.
The final XML file will be saved on Elxis root directory having name the one you set in the XML file name field. If Elxis root is unwritable by PHP and the export fails to save the file please enable FTP access over files in Elxis global configuration and re-try.
Attention: If the XML file already exists in Elxis root folder, it will be overwritten!
On your right you can see a list of the already exported XML files and their date of export. If you wish you can delete them by clicking on the delete icon.
