IOS Eshop has an advanced search system that has been built in a way that can support shops with thousands of products and categories.
Features
- Search in product title, SKU, manufacturer, brief description, category, product type, extra fields and product price.
- Pagination/Navigation
- Search in products extra fields for all search-able extra fields.
- Search based on product type
- Limit search results by setting a maximum product price (not available for shops that work as online catalogs).
- By selecting different product type the search form loads the search fields that are suitable for the new type (AJAX powered).
- By selecting different product type the manufacturer title changes to suit the selected product type.
- By selecting a category the search form loads the category sub-categories. By selecting a sub-category it loads the sub-sub-categories, etc. The nested category select drop down boxes uses AJAX and next to each sub-category you can see how many products contains.
Sub-categories, extra fields and manufacturer title are updated in real time using AJAX. The search system has been built in a way that is capable to handle shops with thousands of products and categories.
