What is an Open Payment?

An Open Payment is a transaction in which the customer fills-in the payment amount. This feature can be extremely helpful for paying previously set and unpaid orders or for differences between the paid and final amount. The customer must fill-in the reason for an Open Payment (i.e. Repayment for order E-57). In the Open Payments page you can see a list of the existing payments as well as there statuses (Paid/Unpaid).

By clicking on the open payment transaction ID you can see a full-detailed receipt. The same receipt can be seen by the customer. The customer can access the open payment receipt page in 2 ways:

1. If he is a registered user he visits the My orders page and select from the list the open payment for which he wish to see the details.

2. A special URL with encrypted data is sent to his e-mail address after the completion of the payment. By clicking on that link he goes directly to the receipt page which he can see even if he is an un-registered user.

Open payment receipts start with a capital O while the normal orders start with a capital E.

O-5 is the fifth open payment (O stands for Open).

E-7 is the seventh order.

Important notice: Unpaid Open Payments will be deleted automatically 3 days after the time they were initiated.

A special type of open payment is the Gift Certificate.
