Add and edit room page on IOS Reservations uses a tabular way to show you the various edit screens. The usage of AJAX helps you be more productive and automatise your work a lot, making editing a room faster and easier. You reach this page from the rooms list page in IOS Reservations control panel.

IOS Reservations v3.3
Room details
Select the hotel this room belongs to. The help you separate hotels with the same name but on different location next to the hotel name IOS Reservations shows you the area the hotel in located. Vacancy is the number of available rooms of that type in your hotel. Persons is the number of people this room is for (f.e. 2 for a double bedded room). You can also select the publish status of the room and upload an image of the room interior.
Title and description
As with any other information field in IOS Reservations you can add the room title and description in multiple languages.
Weekends price
If you wish to apply special prices for weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) you can enter a percentage of the season price or an absolute price. This will be applied or will overwrite the season price. In case of percentage, you can also use negative numbers. Leave it to zero (0) to disable special price for weekends.
Example
The normal price of a room is 100 EUR per night.
By setting weekends price to 20% will make the price of the room for the weekends to 120 EUR.
By setting weekends price to -20% will make the price of the room for the weekends to 80 EUR.
By setting weekends price to 150 will make the price of the room for the weekends to 150 EUR.
Room price rates
In this screen you insert the per night price of the room. Each row is consisted by a start date, an end date and the price. By selecting Not Available or by inserting 0 as a price makes the rooms unavailable for a time period (season). Click save for saving and the delete icon to remove a row. By clicking on the Availability Calendar link you can see your availability and price settings in time. This is an easy way to check your settings and make corrections if needed.
Room facilities
As for the hotel facilities, you can insert an unlimited number of facilities for a room. The functionality of this page is very similar to the one for the hotel facilities.
Special availability
The purpose of the Special Reservation/Availability feature is to limit down the number of available rooms for a specific date in order to synchronize IOS Reservations with your offline (or an other online) reservations system. Select your desired date and the number of rooms you wish to limit down for that date. Past dates are automatically cleaned up from the database.
