Discount coupons

To use discount coupons they must be enabled in IOS Eshop configuration and the shop should not work as a products catalogue. A discount coupon, normally, is being generated automatically after the process of an order which total amount is greater than the discount coupon limit. The value of the coupon is a percentage of the total order amount.

Automatic coupon generation

Let's say that a customer submits an order of 200.00 EUR. In IOS Eshop we have set that for orders greater than 80.00 EUR a coupon should be generated having value the 5% of the order amount. So, as 80 is greater than 200, a coupon will be generated having value 10.00 EUR (200 x 5/100). This coupon will be activated automatically after the payment is complete and will be send to the customer via e-mail.

Manual coupon generation

Via the administration panel you can any time generate manually discount coupons for any existing, or not, customer you wish. You can also activate/de-activate and delete discount coupons and also send them to their recipients.

To send a discount coupon to its recipient click on the mail icon next to it's name.

To create a coupon for a registered user select the user from the list, enter an amount and click Create.

To create a coupon for a non-registered user click on the Create a coupon for a non-registered user link and a special form will be displayed. Write the coupon's recipient name and e-mail, enter the coupon value (amount) and click Create. If you wish the coupon to be send to the recipient during its generation process check the Send coupon to recipient checkbox. You can send the coupon to its recipient later if you wish.
